Amy Whinehouse died of alcohol poisoning.

A pathologist's report found that Winehouse had consumed a "very large quantity of alcohol," and was more than five times the legal limit when she died. The singer's body was discovered at her North London home on July 23. She was aged just 27 and had fought a very public battle with both alcohol and drugs during her short but notable musical career.

Sitting at St Pancras Coroner's Court in London, Greenway said of Winehouse: "she had consumed sufficient alcohol at 416 mg per decilitre of blood and the unintended consequences of such potentially fatal levels was her sudden and unexpected death."

The British legal limit for driving under the influence of alcohol is 80mg. The singer's weight loss, tiny frame and bronchial problems are also likely to have increased her exposure to the effects of alcohol on her system. The hearing was told that she had not consumed any alcohol in the three-weeks leading to her death.

An earlier toxicology report published in August had found that there were no illegal drugs in her system, despite press reports claiming she had been out the night before her death buying drugs in North London.

The inquest also heard that live-in security guard Andrew Morris had checked on the star on the morning of the 23rd July and thought she was in bed sleeping. He called the emergency services when he checked on her five hours later and found she had not moved. Empty vodka bottles were found at the scene.

The multi--award winner is widely regarded as one of the most dazzling vocal talents to emerge from Britain in recent years, with hit album Back To Black returning to the top of the charts within days of her death this summer.

Kanye West Announces New Album - http://pulse.me/s/2w8jc

It may have only been a few simple words, but Wednesday night Kanye West's post on Twitter spoke volumes: "GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING 2012."

Not much is known, but as The Fader commented, expect appearances by G.O.O.D. Music's Big Sean, Pusha T, John Legend, Kid Cudi, Mos Def, and Common on the label compilation.

This isn't the first time Kanye used Twitter as a platform to announce an upcoming project. "Me and jay bout to drop a 5 song album called 'Watch the Throne,'" Kanye tweeted last year to announce his and Jay-Z's collaborative album. West is also thought to be working on the follow-up to last year's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, but no details have been revealed yet.

Until then, Kanye is gearing up for the Watch the Throne tour with Jay-Z, set to kick off October 28th at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Watch the Throne sold nearly 500,000 copies in just its first week. Together the two rappers have sold more than 65 million albums, 27 Grammy Awards, and 17 #1 albums.

50 Cent's Baby Mama's House Set On Fire!!!

A suspicious fire burned through a house owned by rapper 50 Cent in Dix Hills, New York. The house was occupied by his ex girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, and their 10 year old son, Marquise. Six people were taken to the hospital, including the two, for smoke inhalation.
Dix Hills Fire Department Chief Larry Feld told MTV News the blaze was "definitely suspicious." When pressed for details, Feld said, "I would say there is a strong possibility that it is suspicious because of the rapid movement of the fire, the volume of the fire that we had upon arrival, and the intensity. When I arrived — and I got there early — the whole first floor and second floor was engulfed, and the home was totally gutted.

"Let's put it this way," he continued, "this wasn't your ordinary fire."
50Cent attempted to have his baby mama and his son removed from the home in April, unless they paid him rent. The case was due to be heard in Court on June 10th.
50 Cent was on location in Louisiana, filming for a new movie. He expressed concern for everyone in the house, including his son and baby mama, and was grateful no one was hurt.
