Ms. Hater's Hatin'...Again

This really isn't a hater post. I could never hate on Mariah. I have way too much love & respect for her. Ok, that's a lie, but let me explain. My baby sister called earlier today. She'd seen Mariah on Oprah (I missed it), and told me that she'd brought up her marriage to Tommy Mottola. She didn't really go into detail about what all was said. Didn't matter, my mind was made up. I was disgusted. I mean, how many times is this chick gonna talk about that man. We get it, the marriage was bad, but that was almost 20 years ago right? He's remarried & just had a new baby. GET OVER IT ALREADY!

Then I actually sat my butt down & watched the show for myself. Mariah showed off her house & French chef, she also spoke of how she lost the weight & breaking Elvis Presley's record...then it came...the Tommy Mottola part. She said the marriage was basically his idea, & a mistake on her part, because she was so young. She felt incredibly "confined & restricted". All of a sudden, Mariah stopped being this famous woman that I adored, but felt had a few issues, & she became a real person. I'm a woman, so it won't be hard for me to admit...GULP...I was wrong.

Let this be a lesson to us all, you never really know what goes on behind closed doors. Yeah...she's rich, beautiful, & talented, but that was obviously a difficult time in her life. She got through it, & she's still rich, beautiful, & talented. Another lesson ladies, whenever you are looking for an escape route, while walking up that church aisle, RUN!!!
