Kanye West Is Single Again

Alexis Phifer, Kanye West's fiance of 1 1/2 years, has confirmed the two have called off their engagement. She told People Magazine, "It's always sad when things like this end, & we remain friends...I wish him the best in his future & all of his endeavors." Rumors were swirling, that the couple were having problems. At least they realized it wasn't going to work before they jumped the broom.

Erykah Badu In Blender Magazine

Erykah Badu sat down with Blender Magazine, & made a few interesting comments. "I have a shoe fetish..." She goes on to say, "I'm late all the time. I have no perception of time. Time is for white people. It doesn't work for me." Ms. Badu's fantasy man is "Batman." When asked about the last person she punched, the Neo-Soul singer replied, "My sister. And was pregnant. Well, she was talking shit."

Now, we all know Erykah is very...deep, & I love me some Erykah, I do. I just don't understand what types of drugs Blender is passing out when these artists sit down with them. First Alicia Keys, now Erykah, who's next?

Here's a new track from Nas' upcoming album, Nigga. I'll give it to him, he's bold. I don't quite understand why artists think it's o.k. to use "The N Word" in their music, and don't even get me started on women being referred to as bitches & hoes. I give him props on creativity, which Hip-Hop seems to be lacking nowadays, but that's about it. For those of you, who have been anticipating this album, I'm guessing you'll love this song. For those of you that agree with me, you can take a listen anyways, & just shake your head in complete disgust. Tell me which side your on.

Jordin Sparks Cancels Performances

She was set to be the opening act, on the Alicia Keys tour. A rep for Ms. Sparks explains, due to vocal problems, she's been forced to "...cancel all performances for the rest of the month." 50 Cent Is At It Again

I'm guessing that ever since 50 Cent came in 2nd, behind Kanye, he's become a bit sensitive. Seeing as The Game, Nelly, & G-Unit are all dropping their albums on June 24, you'd think Fifty would make sure his album was on point, so history wouldn't repeat itself. He must not think he's that creative though. 50 Cent talked about The Game & G-Unit, coming out on the same day, "...I'm just gonna push his album back." Guess we'll have to wait a little longer for The Game's L.A.X. album, seeing as Half Dollar doesn't want the competition. Tell us how you feel about this, in the comments section below.
